Christ VALVe...

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

You just know exactly what to do to keep taking my money, don't you!
I play Scout and Medic a lot.

I'll stick to my PC.

I'm more interested in all of the SimCity 5 leaks from GDC

Known about this for days now, but I would buy it if it's something like OnLive. Not trying to be a cheapskate or anything, but I don't have much money. (but still would like something to let me play my Steam collection when I'm elsewhere)

I'm still a bit unsure what the point of this is. I have a feeling the actual device Valve is working on is going to be very different from what most of the speculation is talking about.

  1. It has to run Windows to play Steam games
  2. Microsoft probably won't work with Steam to make a Windows-powered console, since they have the Xbox to worry about
  3. Valve says they "don't want to make the hardware themselves"

What this leads me to believe is that it's going to be a special gaming PC, and nothing more. Calling it a console doesn't really make sense to me because it's going to have all the qualities of a PC (except maybe no monitor or keyboard/mouse). All in all it's hard to make sense of it, but for now I'm not too excited.

I know there's really no point, but there's a good chance I'll buy it if/when it comes out.

And I'd be alright with a gaming computer dedicated to Steam. Honestly, I'd prefer that over a console.
I play Scout and Medic a lot.
