[Image Contest] How the sandvich shaped our modern world

OK kids. This is the early stages of a contest brewing.

We all know the sandvich has been around for 1000's of years. It's main purpose is to shape humanity in its twisted vision. Sandvich has also gone to great lengths to be removed from history. Let's put him back where he belongs.

The contest is simple. Add sandvich back into its moments in history. To make it fair. No photoshop! Any editing must be done with a free online image editor. I'm not going to pick one. So go find a favorite. http://bit.ly/v2d8t8

Short rule list:
- Make sure sandvich fits in with the image. As in color, texture, ect.
- You will have to add a small text explaining what Sandvich did.
- must use an online image editor
- this is an open contest. Currently no end date.
- prizes will be determined later.
- top images (voted by admin) will go into a general vote. (for awarding prizes)
- no cheating.

Here's an example

Sandvich led Napoleon to his grand defeat at Waterloo in 1815.

It sucked that I couldn't use photoshop, but I managed to get this together

The Allied victory against the Japanese naval outpost of Lunchway was a turning point in the war.

Hitler's real problems started when he removed the sandvich from the German menu.

@megamoose It looks sloppy and rushed.

Though modern popularization suggests the three wise men were following a star, it might be more apt to say they followed a sandvich.

Using an online editor was awkward (and I accidentally pressed the back button twice), but here's my entry:

Washington and his army cross the Delaware, full of sandvich and coming for you (on Christmas).

*edit* Sorry didn't really read guidelines, was just fooling around killing time. Will redo sandvich to give it more appropriate feel later.... and as for its explanation, clearly this is the brave chinese sandvich standing in the way of communist tanks in Tiananmen Square.

Isaac Newton was inspired to make the law of gravity after seeing a sandvich fall from a tree.

In the Motherland victory is often celebrated with the tossing of sandviches.
