So I was down and out most of Monday. I never saw the show before. The premise seemed overdone. But I'm pleasantly surprised. Anyone else catch the show? I honestly thought Gary was an autistic actor.
I only saw one part of one episode: Where a man holding a hostage taunted one of the Alphas, saying he couldn't make the shot, and so in order to stop the hostage-taker he shoots a bullet to bounce it off a road sign far behind him and hit the man in the back. I promptly walked out of the room laughing and haven't watched it since. XD
For the record, I've heard from several sources it actually is a good show, and am under the pretense I walked in at the worst possible moment in the series.
There were several idiotic moments. They even make fun of themselves. The whole adding the daughter in ticked me off though. In the last episode she manages to wreck what was becoming a really good story arc. Even pointing out that it was convenient for them to get tipped off to something happening. Suspecting they were walking into a trap. But somehow the daughter, who's apart of the "bad guys." Gets a pass.
Still better story telling than Falling Skies. Which I still love to hate.
