This community has a special place for Futurama. I mean I...

All Glory to Hypnotoad...

No seriously. Futurama is great because it doesn't follow the MacFarlane/(following the Simpsons) formula.
Period.

The Creative Emmy Awards were handed out on Saturday, September 10. Surprisingly, and happily, Outstanding Animated Program was awarded to Futurama for "The Late Philip J. Fry." Plus, Mauriche LaMarche won Outstanding Voice-Over Performance as Lrrr and Orson Welles in Futurama's "Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences."

Hooray for writing based on an actual plot instead of a series of random occurances.

I only watched it when it was cancelled, now that it's on Comedy Central I just haven't been watching.

Well, Futurama deserves it.

90% of shows (I'm probably being generous on that statistic) on television these days suck a fuckin' dick.

I agree. Besides the science channel all I watch is Dr. Who, Futurama, and occasionally that Oddities show.

BTW don't know oddities. The only good "reality" TV show I know of.

And their regular customer is fucking weird.

Props to Peter Dinklage for his Emmy for his genius portrayal of the Tyrion "The Imp Lannister.

Also, with all due respect to Jim Parsons, but Louis C.K. NOT getting an Emmy is criminal.

I think I'm going to start putting hidden messages in my posts. Oh wait, already started.

They're bright, but I can still read them. Try [color=#e1ebf2] or [color=#ecf3f7], depending on the post's position. (or [size=1] if you want people to only see them by zooming in)

Oh my :O
