favorite band/song

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

favorite band/song

i figured this was a different enough topic from the what are you listening too thread that i could make a post about it. also, the what are you listening to thread is spammed too much and i almost never look at it because i dont want to spend half an hour looking through random music. anyway, band and song, maybe a couple if its a really tough choice, but i would like to keep this thread neat so it doesnt become heavily spammed.

my favorite bad is creedence clearwater revival, and my favorite songs are fortunate son, by ccr, and eminence front by the who

I can't really say I have a favorite band since I cycle through so many of them, but if I had to pick one I'd have to say The Alfee.

THE ALFEE - Victory

I also can't name a single favorite song for the same reasons. I'm a total music hound; my top rated playlist in iTunes once contained over 1000 songs.
But if I had to name a few:

木枯しに抱かれて

(Kyoko Koizumi self-cover)

ミルキィホームズ - 正解はひとつ!じゃない!!

I actually have a few favorite bands / songs. But I will stick to my top two.

Rise Against - Swing Life Away

Oh this song

Styx - Renegade

I always turn my speakers / radio up so loud when this comes on. It's my jam.

Creed, because the guy who sings for them sounds like he has a pickle in his mouth at the time, and that makes me laugh.

I only listen to albums straight through, so I don't categorize stuff by individual songs.

But, I was making dinner to my Sly and the Family Stone last night and rocked out pretty hard to this song:

Also, Ok Computer was my commute this morning. Fucking awesome record.

My favorite musician is Sufjan Stevens.
I stood in the rain for 6 hours roughly a month ago waiting to see the last show of his tour for the Age of Adz album. Best concert I've ever seen. In searching for my favorite songs I've gotten completely lost and it's difficult to stop watching videos and listening.

Silly video title, great song.

Sufjan Stevens 8-2-11 Prospect Park

Here is a link to video of the entire concert.

Yeah, my bf, myself, and a few friends just decided to wait on the side where their tour bus was. We figured if we saw them cool, if not oh well. But it was so worth the wait. <3 You should try it sometime! HE's super hot in person, and so soft spoken. You would never know from a guy who can sing louder then most.
