It's his birthday...

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

It's his birthday...

And I think we should share our favorites....

My favorite band of all time, and I can honestly say today I am sad to know that we aren't graced with his presence from the day to day..

Happy birthday

im starting to listen to modern music, but i never pay attention to the lyrics, only the beat.
music from 10+ years ago all had great meaning in them.

So true, so true. :D Most of the bands I've seen in concert are from the 70s and 80s except for a like Pennywise and Rise Against.

You're right Mike, they do have great meaning behind them. It's still hard to listen to the songs that F. Mercury wrote about his inevitable death from aids..

Come on, if you're going to talk about 80s music, at least talk about good 80s music.

INXS, Blondie, The English Beat, The Cars, The Talking Heads, The Go Go's, Billi Idol, Joy Division, Pulp, The Smiths, and Elvis motherfucking Costello. Do I need to go on?

The fact that you mentioned Air Supply as a good band negates your entire opinion. On Everything.

Sorry I couldn't name every single good 80s band, I'll try harder next time. Dire Straits is more of a 70s bad to me, despite brothers in arms being squarely in the 80s.

Also, Blondie was good. Maybe not all of their stuff. Air Supply on the other hand makes me want to start looking around the room for ways to kill myself. And that's when their good song comes on.

blondie was not good imo. dire straits is in my mind one of the best 80's bands
