Professional integrity? Poor Jake, you forgot that most people you can expect to meet on TF2 are boy gamers around 14 to 19 years old. Don't expect to find much professional integrity coming from teenagers, especially GAMERS who can only throw their inner demons from the other side of a computer screen. :/
Professional integrity usually comes from two things. Experience and age.
Of course, on Critsandvich, we have a good number teenager gamers around here that have an impressive sense of professional integrity, which is one of the many reasons I enjoy this community. Integrity is just a word until you realize how deeply you can actually hurt people. I've hurt a bunch of people myself before learning that for myself. On Critsandvich, people certainly from many different perspectives. Some may view me as a decent writer, others like an internet creeper, others like a boobs-lover, others like a French, etc. But no matter, I try to never push the joke too far. If I feel like people actually consider my sexists or perverted comments seriously, I apologize and admit to my mistake.
If I feel like I can't keep a promise to people, I try my best to warn and to discuss about the situation before giving up on them (like I tried to do with Deli).
I'm not perfect and I make mistakes. My jokes aren't always the best either (and they can actually be pretty bad). But I deeply respect everyone in this community. No matter who you are or what you look like, your integrity is what I respect the most.
Like I said in previous topics, I don't believe in the power of words, but I do believe in the power of sincere feelings. Words can barely start to transmit how you feel. Like lovers who need to kiss and hug, or friends that need to shake hands and to hit each other's fist, the key to communication is not as much about communicating with the perfect words. It's about communicating with the good energy.
And also, blahbalhblah... Bla.. Bla... *Started considering doing university stuff instead of writing a novel in this thread. -.-*
