For Mice, Logitech MX518, Steelseries Ikari or Razer Deathadder.

As for Headsets, do you have a good sound card? If yes then Sennheiser PC151, HD555 (with a logitch desk mic) or PC360s. If no then a pair of Steelseries USB 3H, 4H or 5H

Razer sucks when it comes to keyboards (and sound). I think you'll be happier if you looked into a $20 Logitech one thats corded, or the Dell L100. Really when it comes to keyboards anything works, theres not a lot of difference generally between a $100 keyboard and a $20 keyboard, and I would actually say the more costly keyboards are worse if your after performance over flashing lights. That said if you play any MMOs then look into a G11 or G510

I don't know much about mice and keyboards, but if you don't exclusively play PC games, Turtle Beach makes some nice shit. They are easily the best multiplatform headset makers.

but its all preference tuna. i might like this product but you might not agree.
look up reviews and look at the shapes of the products etc.

G19 is a big waste of money

gonna add that godm1n is right about sanheiser being excellent headsets, I've gone through 3... and thats exactly their problem >.< I've have my carch. for almost a year now and its been flung to the floor, on my desk and rolled over by my chair countless times, it's built super sturdy and it's very affordable (which is another problem I find with sanheiser).

Edit: apparently they no longer sell the g15 and what i linked you was driver software lol. I know ive seen them at future shop though

I've owned a pair of HD555s and PC151s for about 5 years now, no problems so far. That said there is a crack in the HD555s headband but it doesn't cause problems, the PC151 which I got the same year (they were on sale for $20, was like yep.mp4) look like new, and yes I do use them a lot. Actually used them for my travel pair for awhile and they've been dropped, stuffed in bags ect ect. As far as their cost, I actually find it the other way around. Sennheisers offer much better sound imo, and for what you pay for the Cars you could get a pair of HD555s which are better headphones. It becomes even more clear when looking at what Logitech offers.

Ofc all this said, it wont matter what he gets if he doesn't have a decent sound card. So assuming he doesn't a USB set is the "better" rout.

You'll still be downgrading by getting that. Even though I suggest the G15s for MMO players its still a nice keyboard for FPSers. Its just FPS players don't need to spend $100+ on a keyboard, ever. You on the other hand already have a G15 so theres no reason to use anything else because its most likely the best keyboard on the market.
