A series of incredibly convenient events

Today, the power supply on my router died. However, there was a Verizon worker and stocked field van right across the street. He saw our old router and gave us a new one. Later, I found an older power supply for the first router. Then, I set it up as a LAN bridge.

What does all this mean? I can finally get rid of wifi.
