That article sounds like it has no idea what a troll is. Trolls provide thought-provoking satire and generally do the opposite of dumbing-down topics.

I honestly don't see how this will benefit anybody because it'll enforce their actions and no one will be able to stop them because they have money on their side. Since they are trolls to begin with, it'll only get worse.

I don't know about libertarians doing this, but I do know that the Department of Homeland Security has been systematically trolling websites critical of its policies (especially this one).

I think they mean ALEC pro-corp libertarians (Fuck Obama and his Union Bosses, let Walmart and Bank of America appoint a senator - oh wait, they have 100 already). Alternet is a troll in it's own way, though

Agree w/ Big Bear, sounds like Randbots/ALEC. Their definition of "free market" is something disturbingly like 19th c. robber baron capitalism. They like the state because of the privileges it offers, and any Libertarian who likes the state isn't a Libertarian in my book.
