Bad AFN Commercials

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

Bad AFN Commercials

by VoltySquirrel » Mon Jun 20, 2011 7:22 pm

This is just one example of the terrible AFN commercials we have to endure daily. I'll try to find more.

Trust me, it gets worse. Compared to some of the other shit, this might as well be an Old Spice commercial.

I probably would take the commercials over the horrendous amounts of reality shows that air all the time. There are so many, and most of them are just bad. (especially Jersey Shore)

That commercial is from Canada; it wasn't produced for the AFN.
Also just because she spilled his coffee doesn't give him the right to beat her up and humiliate her. I find it beyond offensive when people think domestic violence is something to laugh at. What if someone you knew was a victim? Would you think she/he was "asking for it" then?

Don't spill coffee. Problem solved.

Are you two insinuating that it's OK to beat someone up if she spills your coffee? Guess what: it's not.
"She spilled my coffee" is being used as an example of an excuse an abuser would give for beating up his spouse/partner. He would still find ways to get at her even if she didn't spill his coffee. For you people to just sit back and laugh as it happens only encourages this behavior.

There are malnourished kids in Africa right now that would LOVE to have that coffee, and this selfish waitress is just letting it spill all willy-nilly like.

Are you understanding what I'm saying? These issues are NOT funny, and you taking that careless attitude is COSTING WOMEN THEIR LIVES.

That PSA is part of a series on workplace safety, not domestic violence.
Your argument is invalid.

Of course it's a series.

Video 1: Lady spills coffee and doesn't clean up after it.
Video 2: Sous chef slips on coffee puddle made by lady in Video 1 and suffers 3rd degree burns because there was a class limit on Pyros.
