I honestly never learned how to ride a bike. This kid is giving me the motivation to do so.

When I learned to ride my bike, I got the riding thing down pretty quickly. The stopping part, not so much. When I needed to stop, I would eye up a soft spot of grass and jump off. Eventually I learned how to stop and not crash, but jumping off was always fun.

Anyway, you should learn how to ride a bike. I commute to work on my bike and it's awesome. I love riding past all the people stuck in traffic.

I need to. My last experience I was like 6 and I thought it would be better to learn in socks. The sock eventually got pulled in by the chain and it pulled on of my toes through the pedal hole and yeahhhh just wasn't pretty after that :(

I didn't learn how to ride a bicycle until I was around 9. All self-taught. Parents never really helped teach me (or help me learn how to tie my shoes, for that matter).

Now it's something I do whenever I can.
