The other communication option- VENT

There are some in the Critsandvich community that can not or will not use mumble for various reasons. I am providing another option. I have a vent, I pay for it every month whether people use it or not.

There is no PW to my vent, only PW protected channels. I can give admin to current community admin. My vent only holds 20 at the moment. I will adjust that if I see a need.

Well assuming you're in a game, nothing really. Matter of fact I'd think they'd be quite annoying while playing. However when not in-game they could be fun to use, better than PMs seeing how steam keeps going down x.X They're just VoIP programs, basically like skype or another things like it, only easier to use and they're always on. And they have push to talk :3

Personally I don't think we need it, but its something else for the community to use :3 So hopefully it works out.

Why I like using vent or other voice communication mediums-

If you only play TF2 for social reasons do not use vent or other voice communications.

In TF2 I use vent to communicate to my teammate. Say I'm playing with Tough Guy. I'm his medic. I can communicate to him things I would not say in-game. It's strategy.
I also use Vent for competitive TF2.

I use my vent for WoW, LoL, DotA, Starcraft, L4D(2), ANY MULTIPLAYER GAME EVER.

I use my vent for normal chatting.

The steam voice option is sub-par, and most would agree with me.

I enjoy vent and I'm willing to pay for it. I think having a voice communication option elevates your experience while gaming.

Joining my vent will not get your cool points. It's just another option for community members looking to socialize outside of typing.

I have already listed reasons why I use vent for communicating in-game. I also posted that you should stay away from mumble/vent/skype if you only ply tf2 for chatting it up with community members. That is perfectly acceptable.
