Grad school will be the end of me.

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

Grad school will be the end of me.

Well, after pulling a near all-nighter, I managed to finish what I was working on: a presentation on testing a new Duality theory as it applies to nonlinear optimization (yeah, it's as interesting as it sounds). I'm about to go present it and hopefully regain a bit of sanity. As I am quite insane at the moment, I didn't know who to tell, so I thought I'd just dump it here in the Spam Fest forum. Wish me luck.

Good luck, man. My brother is currently in his second year of grad school getting a PhD in Physics. Sounds like hell.

He should help me get an A in my Fisykz class.

Don't listen to Fail. BRAVE IT

I'm also in graduate school. Shits hard and I've never been so drunk in my life. Grad school requires extensive drinking.

And copious amounts of debt.

It does require lots of drinking, but if you are in a science it requires no debt. That shit be paid for.

It'll be nice to have more fellow PhDs around here, sometimes I get lonely.

I'm on a full ride too. Yay for old people and the government paying for my second degree.

I unfortunately will not get a PhD, my field's terminal degree is MFA.

I'm a bit less lucky, I suppose. I'm getting those copious amounts of debt since the research groups that apply to my specialty are currently full. So, I've got the debt until I get a research position to pay for the rest of my grad school.

Oy vey... I'm only an undergrad and am still struggling to slog through all these papers...
I just cranked out one research paper and am working on a book reaction paper, both are due tomorrow. On top of this I have final exams coming up.
Wish me luck...

My girlfriend has an MFA in printmaking. Apparently only art professors get PhDs.
