Having trouble calibrating my headset

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

Having trouble calibrating my headset

by HibiscusKazeneko » Sat Mar 05, 2011 9:38 pm

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm in a bit of a pickle:
As you know if you've played with me recently, my mic input on my Mac is broken. I have a USB headset that I'm trying to use for backup but for some reason it picks up background noise. Has anyone else had this problem and do you know how to fix it?
It's an iHome LifeTalks IH-H411UP, for the record.

I only have a normal 13" MacBook, not a MacBook Pro.
The internal mic picks up background noise too easily.

Also I tweaked things a bit since my last post and my new setup works perfectly in TF2, but not in Mumble.
