Headsets

Hey, This is a thread to post what headset you have, or would recommend.

I personally have this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUq20Fk01Gk <-- this guy is crazy lol.

It breaks very easily and is very old. It's sound quality is ok.

One of my ear cushions ripped off, so I have to wear a beanie for it to be comfortable.

I would like someone to recommend me a good, durable, cheaper headset. (if there is one :D )

I bought the Razer Carcharias (sp?) on the recommendation of some people here a couple months ago, and they've worked great so far.

I only have my Rock Band mic. I was looking at a set from Razer when I had the money, but decided not to get one since I didn't need it all that much. I'll probably get one soon, since holding my mic isn't all that fun unless I'm playing Rock Band. (which I don't have anymore)

The Carcharias look good, I'm just low on money.

I have an old mic that the clip broke off of so I have it strung through a binder clip and clamped onto my shirt or vest xD.

I've used these don't own them atm.
Image

I also use a X-fi sound card, which is also important for good sound

As far as headphones, Sennheiser and SteelSeries are the only brands worth looking at, I think all other sound like crap compared to them imo. Was going to get a pair of these

but seeing how riding weather has been awesome lately I canceled that order and I'ma use the money for motorcycle stuff

Actually the HD555 is a open ear design and it doesn't get your ears hot at all. Even 100 degree+ days I'm fine with them on for hrs

I have this headset. My brother gave it to me for my birthday in October.

I don't use it much anymore; the mic input on my MacBook doesn't work. I'll have to call Apple customer service to see what I can do; I already tried Google and it turned up nothing useful.
