New Orleans

So I'm going to be going on a week long trip to New Orleans coming up for a friend's wedding. Anyone been there? Can anyone suggest any restaurants that I have to try? Can anyone tell me of a nice place to stay? Or where not to stay?

If you can see the Rebirth Brass Band while you are there at the maple leaf bar I would Highly recommend. It will be packed in there like sardines, but if you like brass music they are 2 legit

oh and food is uber expensive there, just so you know. and don't slap an officer's horse on burbon street, you will go to jail (fyi wasnt me)
