Don't listen to the people who say that today should be all about somber remembrance instead of barbeques and celebrations. There is no better way to honor the sacrifice of all the men and women in our Armed Forces than to spend time with your family and live the normal life they fought and died to protect.
To all the ferners (spelled phonetically, of course) in the community: Happy Memorial Day anyway!
When you do take the time to recognize those in the Armed Forces, just remember: all the other branches are in support of the Army!
