My favorite scary movie is also final destination series...

I'd have to say that its probably the 1963 version of the Haunting. It's an excellent movie and, while I'd say that it doesn't scare me like it used to when I was younger, it's still a great watch every October for me.

I still enjoy gory movies like the SAW series, but they aren't really scary for me, only startles.

And before anyone discusses the Haunting remake, yes, I saw it, it sucks, watch the NC review to see why.

SAW (the whole series), The Shining, The Exorcism (of emily rose?) movie (from like the 80's or w/e), its not really scary, but the old Alien movie(s), Final Destination, The Thing (the original, not the new going-to-be-shitty one), Psycho uhhhh i think thats it in terms of scary movies.... Paranormal Activity was stupid, although it did make me jump and frightened me for a bit.

SAW isn't really that scary, it just makes you cringe. Final Destination, the scary part is that some of that shit could ACTUALLY happen although the odds are VERY slim. Psycho is a fuckin classic, no matter what anyone says, Alien is also a great classic (plus Sigourney Weaver is hawwwt)

I love The Thing. I was so pissed off when I found out they are making a new version. That movie always had a great balance of shit you can't see terror plus shit you can see terror. That and John Carpenter is pretty much the man when it comes to making something scary.

1968 Night of the Living Dead hands down. Both scary and awesome. I love a lot of the older zombie films.
