Hospital xc

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

I second this.
Diabetes is very serious. It runs in my family on both sides; my grandfather had it, several relatives I never knew died of it, etc.
It's thought I might have a similar condition (my hemoglobin was too low for a formal diagnosis, though I have some hormone imbalances that mimic those found in diabetics). I have joined a fitness class and am working out more and plan to do more to hopefully get it under control.

P.S. I think you might want to lay off those greasy foods for a while.

Awww no.
This doesn't look good.
I have an uncle in a similar position: he's been type 2 diabetic for years and is working to keep it from turning into type 1. He's already suffering from some of the characteristic complications such as vision loss.

I hope this doesn't happen to Sandman; if he goes blind, he'll never be able to play TF2 anymore :(

And for the record, I only found that picture because I was googling how to spell the man's name. Half the images were of that freaking cat.

But seriously, Sandman, get well.

I knew that was the guy. :] I don't blame you for trying to add some lightened heart to the situation. I don't know, maybe people just took it wrong? But either way, we all care if Sandman gets better, so that's really all that matters.

I don't care if they took it wrong, if you take something like this too seriously then the rest of your life is going to suck. Learning to laugh in the darkest moments of your life can only help to lighten the room.

In all honesty though Sandman, looking back a few months ago on the eating thread.... maybe http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/k57 ... 182828.jpg wasn't the best idea ;)

Sandman I can give you diabetes tips when you get back. Seeing as I've learned everything from my 45 year old diabetic father. (He's had it for 45 year, he isn't 45.)

Also I haven't had chocolate in forever D:
