So ran into my first internet tough guy who went out of his way to threaten me in real life over a simple "Nice lowball" to his offer of 1Bud + G.Wingstick for my ghost guad.

Then he proceeds to what I assume to reverse image search my avatar since I use it almost everywhere else even my facebook profile which he finds.

So back on tf2tp he posts my name and the following messages.

So overall I'm thoroughly amused and kinda surprised that this spawned over 2 words which really are very common on tf2p.

You need to report him to steam and facebook for cyber stalking, harassment, and let both know he is collecting your personal information.

Make sure your facebook/e-mail/steam ect passwords are changed asap.

Change the settings on all your stuff to private, or direct friends only on facebook too.

If things get worse, tell him you have told the police.

And keep all records of his e-mails.

The matter with Mr. Hicks is now closed.

Earlier today we were asked to close the thread by some "friends" who were dedicated to our cause.

The person who felt like trolling us used his presumed anonymity to attempt to troll several of our community members in real life. This kinda vivacity over a video game. Especially something as stupid as hats in a video game. Unnecessary and idiotic. I asked this person several times to communicate with me in a mature manner. He chose not too. He assumed he was detached enough to hide himself from the internet. He met the same fate he was warning others of here. Ironically his mother ended up outing him. Poor guy.

After he was outed we gave him a further chance to respond and quietly let this die. He chose not too. Further showing the ignorance that is best described by his facebook picture. But we are not like him, and certain personal information will not be made public.

People are cut from different cloths. Some people just don't grow up. Or have issues from their past that are unresolved and require them to let it out in their 20s.

We had several conversations from his "friends." Thanks to communication on Facebook and AIM.

This matter is now closed.

Fair warning Chuck. Let it die. Thanks to all your posts this thread now links your internet persona to your real life. I am making sure your personal information stays private. Unlike you, I'm not going to post your phone number to college recruiters, or send personal information across the internet. Or hit people with dozens of texts when they don't have a plan. Yes his first two above posts were quick to anger. Heck when he messaged me on aim this morning he was mad, but like all problems in life all you need to do is talk about it.
