How can we improve your web experience?

Talk about random stuff that has nothing to do with TF2 or other games.

How can we improve your web experience?

by Failhorse » Wed Aug 24, 2011 10:11 pm

If you have a few minutes, post some thoughts you have about the website. This is geared more towards non-admin/regular players... We hear it enough from you as it is.

Post what you like.
What you don't.
What you'd like to see here.
What we could do to help improve our visibility.

The sky is the limit.

Well to be honost we could use a TF2 'comp' / 6vs6 training server.
For use folks that don't really know where to start, but want to do it.

Expand to other games.
Terraira was fun, but I understand that the server was a massive resource drain.
L4D and L4D2 servers.
I don't know if you want the whole COD and other FPS folks here, but it is also a great way to expand the CSn clan.

We could also have a monthly Admin VS Community battle.
But make the teams even, unlike last time.

Edit: Like Dr.Pikmin said above moar maps on the servers.
Seriously... do the Slayboxes even have Well available? I never see it on the list.

How to get a girl
This works. Walk up to a girl and shake her hand. Complement her boobs, tell her she has a nice smile. Tell her your children with her will be beautiful. Complement her boobs again.

I think direct questions will help-

1. What sort of information do you want to see/read on the front page?
2. What are your favorite colors?
3. What do you click on first when you visit our website?
4. What does this website lack?
5. How much time do you spend lurking?
6. Would you mind having a separate window for the chatbox?
7. What sorts of things do you like to read?

I'll post more.

Please answer those questions and/or add further points.

A few more forum sub-sections wouldn't hurt. Spamsection is waaay to diverse and largely not spam-related at all.

News, and not just Critsandvich news, TF2 news, Valve news, actual news. Im sure members like Harri and Volty would love making their own new article for people to read. We could have a critsandvich news section, TF2 news section, Valve news section, other game news section and actual news section. They could be in the style of blogs so they're more appealing, kinda like what RTW did.

TF2 Patch Updates.

Kind of like the Wiki. What the patch has, including undocumented changes, as well as a little in-depth of any new items included.

That way, I don't have to go to the Wiki, I can just stay here.

Could consist of pages about community memebers. Not a bad idea. I might actually learn a wiki language other than the one TV Tropes uses, which, admittedly, is simple as shit.
