Syfy cancels Eureka

Word out today that Syfy cancelled plans for the 6th season of Eureka. They need to make room for 8 more hours of wrestling and 3 new "reality" shows about ghosts.


It's a sad day.

This is the best show on TV. Err was.

I watched this show a few times back when it came out, but I didn't really get into it.

I stopped watching that network when they cancelled SG-1 and changed their name because sci-fi sounded "too antisocial".

Syfy (sie-fee) has nothing to do with science fiction anymore; it's just another random network that's slowly going down the drain

That channel is only good for October when they play all their shitty made for tv horror movies.

They changed their name from Sci-Fi to Syfy because they couldn't trade mark Sci-fi but they could trade mark Syfy.

Maybe they are trying to free up some more cash to make more dinosaur movies. Or giant alligator movies. Or giant whatever CGI monster they haven't used in a while movies.

Actually, I'm currently watching Eureka's French Canadian dubbed version at Ztélé, our French Canadian equivalent of Syfy. This channel plays many Syfy shows dubbed in French. Our French dubbed versions of your shows are exactly like your version of the show at the exception that we always are 1 to 3 seasons behind your series and that, well, it's in French.

I liked Eureka much until Zoey left for university. After that, it lost some charm for me. It's a wonder they managed to reach 6 seasons at my opinion. o.o

I stopped caring about Syfy once they cancelled Mystery Science Theater 3000. I only came back to the channel for Battlestar Galactica, but once that was over, I never came back.
