I'm not saying the judicial system is flawless, but to make the claim that Anthony did, in fact, snuff out her kid's life just because you think so is baffling.

Also, "scot free"? Maybe you didn't read the sentence under the headline,

"She remains in custody pending sentencing on guilty counts of lying to investigators"

EDIT: For the top sentence, she will receive a year in prison or a $1000 fine for each count, NBC says.

Good thing Hatred (and Canadians of like mind) aren't in charge of the US Justice system, or anyone could be sent to jail because he (or they) "Thinks" they're guilty.

She did it. No mother that loved their child would neglect to call the hospital for their kid if they "drowned in a pool". There is always the possibility of resuscitation.

That entire case was idiotic. There was no reason for it to be a national story. Other than the "24 hour news cycle." As our supposed new organizations try and try to get ratings. It's been compared to the OJ trial. Why? Tell me that. Have you actually read about the case? She lied to the cops. That's about as evil as this gets.

cause OJ got away with it and so did she ... even if she didnt kill the kid, to know what "happened" and do nothing makes her just as guilty as the offending party right ?

and she's spent 3 years in jail she will get out next thursday even if she gets a full year for each of her convictions of lying .... time served in custody is worth 2x the actual time served ....

its just aother massive fail .... juries are the stupidest idea ever to put a bunch of ppl who dont know anything about law in court to listen to stuff they dont understand anmd just wanna go home instead of actually thinking about it .... well i might as well have made your laws cause they would be equaly as stupid ... non-of the jurors even ask 1 single question about the trail before comming to a conclusion ...

I don't take offense. A lot of people are mad and you are too. It was obvious what this woman did, but the jury didn't think so. I can't believe how she threw her dad under the bus like she did. I don't think she was acquitted for the manslaughter charges so there is still some shred of hope on that.

What's sad is if I'm ever late with an abortion I can just kill it a few days after birth and be fine. Postpartum is so common now a days all I'd have to do is get medicated in a hospital for a few months and when I say "Man! I'm better" I can leave.
