CSn Star Citizen Corp overall looks competition

This is probably not my best area but I know you guys like challanges outside TF2 aswell and some of you guys are really good designers.

Penndragoon and I have worked just slightly on the corp just to set it up so we have members and all that info at one spot. We still have History and other things to sort out.

But beeing a community why not make a comp for it - Designing comp if you may. Winner gets his picture/pictures used on the Corp.
And when it comes to finish day sometime this year we start a voting on all 3 picture examples. Logo, banner and background.
And I dont feel we need to stress this challange. So lets say it finish atleast this year

What we could need.
A cool background picture that sits in the back while scrolling the page.
A banner picture
And a logo pic aswell.

I made a couple of logos for now and will do some more and maybe do a few of the other ones aswell and pretty sure Penn is on the works on it aswell.
Our Corp is named Cosmic Starsystems we wanted to keep the CSn kinda deal cause we are mainly from here. So keep that in mind when making ur pics.

So the sizes you need to make the pictures in are:
Logo: 175x175pixels max
Banner: 1140x380pixels max
Background: 1366x768pixels, guess that could be bigger to be hounest to have better quality.
Even Icon but its not needed 24x24pixels

I guess the winner/winners can be rewarded with the marketing title in the corp - Managing branding in general, updates over time and so on. We can be several on this aswell I guess.
If you dont have plan in gaming Star Citizen its fine you can still contribute, you can just join the comp for fun and for contributing.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of covering up a good portion of one letter but it's kinda hard to fit both of them into that small square.

Bottom is still better. Logos usually try to keep a fixed letter size.

The biggest issue I'm seeing is it's hard to tell if it's a "c" or not. The front "s" one should be further to the right of the "c" and the front "c" one would be so much better if the "s" wasn't poking out its middle.

Think this one is the best. It looks really distinct and you can easily figure out the initials even from a distance.

HISTORY

Cosmic Star Systems
We started at earth and went up to space.
From eating sandviches at earth, to start eating Benny’s Noodles.
We mainly have a group highly trained FPS fighters by ground,
and are expanding our network and crew into space aswell.

MANIFESTO

Our main objective is transporting cargo both simple runs to hard ones that no one else dare to take.
It could be anything from specific materials, rockets & ammo or just plain fuel.

We take the routes that are most safe by our own standards and will not fail, we dont even know the concept of that.

We will deliver at any cost. We are a highly trained Corp that arent afraid of anything and will always be successful.
And we take our job at hand very seriously that the cargo reaches it’s destination without a loss.

We will expand our work overtime to other parts of the galaxy aswell.
Bounty-hunting, Mining, High-Risk missions and so on.

Charter
rules!
To benefit beeing in this Corp we will have donations to the org by UEC to build up our fleet of ships to grow faster.
These ships will have a treshhold of UEC you have donated and will be able to loan ships after different ranks.

We havent set a specific rule how much you should donate but the plan is set in ranks.

Rank 0 – New member – ur fine here aswell if you just wanna do single missions.

Rank 1 – Have helped out on atleast 10missions and proven ur self worthy of Rank 1 and to the Corp

Rank 2 – Technicly you could skip from 0 to this rank by donations to the Corp with UEC. Donations of 100.000-250.000 UEC <— this is just an example for now but will be set as rule
when we have the exact earning rate.
Rank 2 allows you to start loan any ship for free we have inside the corp up to
a worth of 500.000UEC for free up to a week and unless no one else want to use that ship ur loan continues.

Rank 3 – This will be the highest rank and that means donations at 500.000UEC and up.
This rank should be anyones goal. This means you are able to loan any of the corp ships for say a week,
or longer if no one else wanna use it so we share it between us. But beeing able to donate you will progress
both urself and as the whole Corporation by buying in bigger ships that would take a loooong time by doing
singleplayer missions by itself. And by loaning ships that are bigger and better you will also earn more UEC.
And no matter the ship cost from start you are allowed to loan any ship or size at this rank.

And don’t be affraid of asking any of us to help out. For example that you have a big mission and need some help,
if you might need crewmen or escort ships flying by ur side to ur destination. We will always benefit doing missions as a group.
Some places are much more dangerous by pirates trying to attack and steal that cargo/items.

Also want suggestions on Rank names to make it sound better for rank 0 - 3.

Kinda like Crewman, Leutenant and so on. Rank would be easy but as a player it might not be as fun beeing called Rank 1 for example, doesnt say much.

I really like this one. the S is the ground of the logo so it should be at the front, but perhaps add either a little space between C and S, or push them together a tad more so it looks more like the S is slightly overlapping. A little more could be done with the negative space in the corners, perhaps add a little accent loop that looks like something is orbiting the CS? Just a thought, but that one is the strongest of your options. blue and yellow orange work together well, gives it a "spacey" color scheme. Maybe brighten the grey borders on the text a smidge, or play with the lighting on the text a little.

I would really like to see other ideas from others as well!

Yea, Now that i'm looking at it, the logo and banner might look better as transparents.

I'm not a part of this or anything but imo Hooked's image looks better as a banner because you get to see the vibrant colours, it's kinda dull as a background but wutevs

Fuck me that smexy. Is it possible to make the suns loop and keep orbiting so we can loop it?

We could actually have someone with a good voice explaining our org using that video to o look at.
Or just after the logo have the 2 stars orbiting and be able to loop it as long as we want and have someone with awesome voice talk over it explaining our Corp.

You can use gifs/webms in the banner? I can try making a loop but if you want the stars to make entire rotations it will be like 20-30 seconds at the current speed they're spinning. Could probably make a 2-3 second loop of the stars stationary but with the textures and flares animating.
