Is Kinect still required to be connected 24/7? That thing creeps me out.

Yea I don't really get why that's needed. It's fishy to me that they force that on people.

As far as Windows 8 I heard they are putting the start bar back in in SP1 or something. You can get mods now to put it back in but there's still that clunky tablet part of the OS that needs to be taken out.

It so that the Government can watch people easily.

Lets say some 15 year old dude is doing some illegial drugs while playing a game on the xbox one.

Thanks to the Kinect being connected, the people can find him and arrest him.

Also to watch everyone 24/7 because they are the fucking gov.

...or at least thats what I think its there for.

The only actual reason I could think of is they might combined motion with controllers in some games, but still. Why do we need for when thats not the case?

Ok, I highly doubt Microsoft specifically designed the Kenect so that they Government can watch our every move. Despite all of this NSA shit that's been coming out, Big Brother is, in fact, not watching.

On topic: I suppose I'll wait to burn that XBone effigy for a little while. Still, #pcgamingmasterrace
I play Scout and Medic a lot.

I don't think that they're using it for the NSA. But I dont put it past them for using it like facebook uses cell phone mics and cameras.
