Rules:
You must play in the 2 Chicago Slayboxes or Westbox and obtain a rank
of top 100 or better in the month of March. The contest will end in
April. Prize winners will be chosen at random with the following
bonuses for higher ranks:

Top 1 - 10 = 10 chances to win
Top 11 - 25 = 5 chances to win
Top 26 - 50 = 2 chances to win
Top 51 - 100 = 1 chance to win

How this works:
If you have a rank of 1 thru 10, your name will be entered 10 times in
the drawing. 11 thru 25 have 5x to win...etc. On the last day of the
contest, the winners will be entered and the drawing will be made.
You will have one week to claim your prize. If you do not claim it,
it is forfeited. The prizes will only be traded to the account with
the same unique steamid as listed on the hlstats list. Any players
deemed cheating will be removed or disqualified. This includes the
use of cheats, exploits or schemes to gain points in a way that gains
an unfair advantage (a spy working with an engineer sapping and
removing sappers for instance). Consider this your warning for
cheating, you will be disqualified. All admin members of CSn are not
eligible to win. If they hold a rank of 1-100 their spot will not be
reclaimed from lower hlstats positions.

On the completion of this contest we will have an Admin vs Community
competition to celebrate. The top winners in the contest will have
first dibs on playing the admins in the contest.

Also, team-stacking is starting to crop up. (Admins don't seem to be above it, which is the worst part.)

Shit like this is making the game pretty unenjoyable. Unbalanced teams, unhelpful players, etc. And all to be first in points or win a hat or whatever. I don't give a shit about how this affects people's chances to win junk, I care because it's making the server less fun to play on.

I'm hoping this was just a problem the first day...

Contest is really awesome and I would say you guys are incredibly generous to be doing this.

My gripe is how it does affect the server sometimes. I remember one round last night where 1/3 of red team on plr_hightower were sitting in spawn eating sandwiches over and over. Basically had an 8v12 going on. Things like that. That was probably the worst and most ridiculous effect.

But I just heard that admins can kick for something like that so I guess it's not as big a deal.

All 3 servers post stats to the same database. You can play in 1 or all of them.

Simply put, anyone who wants to teamstack can do so under the guise of "evening out the teams". We have admins who can sm_forcebalance and the server has an automatic force balance on timer making your options either informing an admin or waiting the 30 seconds... NOT switching teams on your own. With such a subjective issue of asking "what is teamstacking vs. what isn't teamstacking" it's much easier to make it black and white and simply say no team switching -- which is what the MOTD clearly says.
