When is this happening?

I haven't set a date yet because the website has been fucked up so I'm not sure how many people have seen it, and I don't have enough West Coast players to even put together an entire team for them yet. I have enough for 2 teams on the east side, and therefore it might just be a little mini tourney.

I would also like to mention, that I have like 800 requests for medic, which means if you want to play medic, you're not going to get it at this point (unless I get enough for 800 more teams). I am trying to give everyone their first choice for class, obviously this will only go so far, so if you only put one class down, I will assume that you would rather not play than play an off class.

Lastly, when I release the first set of rosters and set the date, that will then give time for people to move around and tell me whether or not they can make it. Thank you all again!

I don't think that commentating IN the match will be a wise choice. What I'm thinking is this... I need to talk to finger about sourcetv, and then see if we can't find a way for people to watch and have Fence commentate in a vent or mumble server situation.

I don't view it as stacked. The last East Team is being filled in the same method that every other team has been filled. As they apply, they're being added to a team. Yes some of them are in the same clan and they waited to apply together, I don't view that as an issue. Yes they put "team mike" and didn't put their HLStats as well, but with that said, I can assure you that they're all East Coast regulars and all that shows is that they're too stupid to follow the rules, let alone win the tournament. So worry not my little critsandvichians, I have full confidence that you all can handle this band of retards. Thanks.

I am pretty excited for all the teams as we finish the rosters. We've had a better turn out than expected and I think all of the teams have turned out competitive through a somewhat random means. I am also excited to have Fence! commentating these matches and all of the fantastic donations that we have received. Because as I already explained, you told me 1 class that you wanted to play, if you give me 1 class I will assume that you would rather not play than play any other class. Even with all of the new people, I still have too many medics.

What's with the insulting hostility? I've read through the whole thread and have never said a word until now. I was the first reserve medic. Another team opened up. Instead of placing the top reserve, someone new was placed. That is what I am questioning.

I don't think there was ever a open slot on the east side. The new team wasn't a bunch of random people put together. I think it was a group signing up.

I don't think I have been hostile at any point, I have simply explained what happened. As far as the "new" people signing up, Mike signed up before you and wanted Medic, when a new team was being put together he got moved to the medic position, and then he traded with that guy after that, so perhaps not the most fair but that's how it ended up. I'm sorry that I don't have 5 teams for the East to accommodate everyone that wants to play medic. Also, the newest team applied as a group, as in they set it up themselves and applied together but it was not a group signing on my end.
