revisiting blog sandvich the critsandvich news and info site

[Failhorse]

A while ago we brought up the idea of creating a blog for Critsandvich. In the next few weeks we will be hopefully making this happen. Of course we will need help and contributors.

The idea is to make this a blog in a general sense. I'd like to see this evolve into a combination gaming/fun parts of the internet/ information site. The main focus would be on gaming. Well maybe not. There's a lot of stupidity and fun happening, sometimes people don't see it right away. There are plenty of other sites that gather the best of the internet and post it in one place. I think we have enough talented people in the community to carve are own little niche.

The general purpose would be to steal 10-30 minutes out of people's daily lives. Thinking 3-6 updates every day. Covering gaming, news, a picture type blog post, and whatever else we could think of. Throw a satirical spin, make it fun and funny. I'd also like to see a weekly comic strip. Think a comic strip version of The Daily Show, but focused on making fun of the gaming world... Say a 4 panel comic strip showing Gabe spilling something on the only computer that had half life ep 3 err something. Even go as far as a weekly video post, if someone has the courage and timing to pull it off.

This will require a large group of dedicated writers, artists, and editors. Trolling the internet for the next meme is easy. We could setup something in the forum that puts a bounty on hits for popular weird shit.

If you have any opinions, or would like to contribute post here. We'll try to setup a meeting at some point. Serious postings only. Don't need this to get trolled out of existence.
