I was thinking myself about how it would be neat if they told you the server count. But I don't know of a way to do that. I think to fetch variables like that you'd need to do some modifying of the code rather than the config files. It's certainly above my skill level, and since not many people mess with the menu very much I doubt there is anyone who would be able to figure it out. If I ever figure out a way to do that, though, I will add it.

And HOW do I go about this? I've gone over the Preferences menu with a fine-toothed comb and there's no option like you mentioned; it's just automatic.

when it automatically adds .txt in save as
just click the typey bar and change the name to MainMenuOverride.res lol. you have to do that as you save as
you cant save it and then change the file name
