I'm awaiting what's in store for today's update page, myself. But I like the addition of weapon effects. Though my question is how difficult the MvM missions will be, and which weapons can the Killstreak Kits be used on, if only certain ones.

I never play MvM, but I'm still excited for this. The Australium weapons look really cool, and I heard Snakewater is a great map (I never played it). I wish we were getting some new weapons, but this is still pretty cool and it's better than nothing. Valve can't be shipping big updates all the time, but I am a little disappointed that it's mostly MvM stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love all the Workshop hats and miscs that they've added, but I'd like new maps and toys to play with.

There are a few definitions of the word "dead" you are ignoring.

I don't care, I'm digging the new video. *cries over cute mercenaries* Even if the update doesn't give us that much, the fandom loses its shit and there's a flood of pics, fics, and SFM stuff, so I'm happy. (Half of my Tumblr is TF2 anyway, so a new update means more TF2 shit on my dash. Hell yeah.)

Well, all I can say is that if you don't want to play that side of TF2, don't. (if you're referring to MvM) Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that others that like it should be denied an update centered around it.
